Question 1

When is Prime Big Deal Days 2026?

Accepted Answer

October 6–7, 2026. It starts at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on October 6 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 7.

Question 2

Do I need Prime for Prime Big Deal Days?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the event deals are for Prime members. A free Prime trial counts, so you can start one before the sale and cancel afterwards if you don't want to keep it.

Question 3

How can I tell if a Prime Day deal is really a good price?

Accepted Answer

Compare against the price the product normally sells for, not the "list price". A big percentage off a list price nobody pays is not a deal. Promo codes that stack on top of the sale price are where the biggest real savings usually are.

Question 4

Can I use a promo code on a Prime Day deal?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Codes in "Promo codes that stack" apply at checkout on top of the sale price. Copy the code from the deal card and paste it into the promo code box before you place the order.
